Biohazard – 101 Description:

“When some of the most horrible events occur, whether, from a criminal act, a self-inflicted and mortal wound, or an act of nature, the mess left behind requires clean-up and restoration of a most unusual sort. While most would consider the work gruesome and shy away from such responsibility, those who do so must be professionally trained and particularly suited for the task. Various laws and regulations guide the residual clean-up of acts of crime or nature. The issues of insurance coverage and payment for such services are complex and often inconsistently applied. This one-hour course describes the nature of “Crime Scene Cleanup” services, the laws that guide them, the ANSI/IICRC S540 Standard For Trauma and Crime Scene Cleanup, and coverages that may or may not be available through insurance.”
