On-Call Biohazard Remediation Technician

Hourly Pay : $14-23
Hours: flexible/on call

Accident Cleaners & Restoration is a fully licensed biohazard remediation company that helps restore homes affected by events such as homicide, suicide, and unexpected death. We are currently seeking biohazard remediation technicians for our 24/7 on-call cleanup and remediation support. These individuals need to be able to handle emotional situations as well as physical demands associated with the biohazard industry and the emotional needs of the families with a service minded attitude.

Some duties are performed while wearing full personal protective equipment (HAZMAT suits) including respirators and other safety equipment as necessary. Related experience for active or retired military, law enforcement (police officers), or firefighters, EMT’s (Emergency Medical Technician) is a plus but not required. Other related service based experience from cleaning or construction is also a plus but not required.

Background

-Clean driver’s license
-21 years of age or older
-Pass pre-employment drug testing
-high school diploma or equivalent
-Trade school, construction and water/fire restoration experience a plus

Position Requirements

– Understanding of IPAD
-Proper communication skills during high stress environments
-Possess professional demeanor and appearance
-Maintain clean, organized work areas
-Ability to work flexible hours and days
-Ability to lift heavy items as well as withstand standing, sitting, walking, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and crawling for long periods of time
